The Luton Light Amateur Theatre group is currently preparing for an exciting production of "Fame - The Musical". This will be performed in Dunstable, Bedfordshire at the end of July 1999. This will be one of the first amateur productions since the show left the West End.

Fame is set in New York at the High School of Performing Arts, it is a dynamic adaptation of the film and television series of the same name.

Fame is a sensitive and moving story of growing up and all that comes with adulthood. Packed with many energetic dance routines and beautiful songs, this show never loses the power to excite and entertain.
